I recently donated two bowls to this event in a nearby suburb..
It seems it went well and they sold out!
The idea is based on the Empty Bowls concept where people come to an event and buy a bowl of food and both the food and the bowls are donated and all the money goes to a selected charity, and the people get to take the bowl home to reuse.
These have been running around the world for some time now. The next one I know of in Australia will be in Perth WA in June 2019.
If you are over that way check out more details on their Facebook page:

A few cooler days - now hot again
We had a few cooler days and I have more pots made -
still not happy with the latest teapot lid so back in the heat today to try a different style...
also finished decorating these mini dishes and teabag holders..
Enjoy the holiday weekend folks...

back in the very hot studio
January is probably our hottest month and with my studio facing west it gets very hot so I have had very little time where it has been cool enough to work...
It is also tricky to manage the drying of pieces... if they dry too quickly they are likely to crack...
I threw these dog bowls as demonstration pieces before Christmas. I have now decorated them but am waiting for more pots to be ready before I fire them.
Once completed they will be donated to Assistance Dogs Australia on behalf of the Port Hacking Potters Group.

Market stall - Memory Lane Festival
I'll be with my Port Hacking Potters friends on a stall at the Bundeena Bowling Club on Sunday.
It is with their Memory Lane Festival which is about Hot Rod and vintage cars.
Perhaps I'll see you there?
We will have lots of lovely gifts to choose from...
