My pigs

Pigs tend to get bad press but my Dad had a piggery of what are now classed as a rare breed, the Berkshire pig. Yes at times they were smelly (after wet weather when their yards were overdue for a clean) and yes they love to root in the dirt but they do have character! I have made a few different ones along the way:

I love the delicate little traceries of patterns over their adorable bums! I think the piggery has been my favourite series of yours so far.

Your pigs are really fun, Birkshires are they the ones with the dark band around their middle? I think pigs are happy animals and are supposed to be the most intelligent of the domesticated ones. They look like they have smiles on their faces. My grandmother used to raise pigs and she would let them out around her pond and the pigs would kill the poisonous snakes with no ill effects to themselves.

Thank you :^) they are fun to make.
Linda, you are thinking of Saddle Backs though I must admit my decoration is more reminiscent of those. The Berkshire are black with white feet, tail tip and a 'blaze' of white on their face. oh, and thanks for the white rabbit :^)
