Student exercise

A recent discussion reminded me of a student exercise about packaging which I did back in TAFE College a few years ago.  Could be something to revisit.....  pardon the awful photos... I have learnt abit since then on taking snaps -lol.
A black cardboard box with silver ribbon.

This Sushi set has foam under a shiny black cloth liner.

Johanna's decorating easel is a wonderful idea. I must confess I am unclear about this post about packing?

Hi Linda. If you check out my Blog List there is one there called "Based in Noosa" - another Aussie. We had a discussion about the fact that when supplying to shops the buyer appreciates a box or packaging for the piece they purchase, especially if they are travelling. Ellen's are very swish. My set fits the pieces well and they would travel well but it is a little heavy.

oh I see what you mean. I have just made a vase with ceramic flowers in it and I was thinking of developing a special box for it as it would have to be packed just right to travel to a person's home safely - I think you are correct puchasers would appreciate a nice box.
