Little Blue Pourer

Fingers crossed for some fine weather tomorrow as I will be doing a market at the village of Bundeena in the Royal National Park...
It will be an extra long drive as the shortest way is a road that crosses a weir and the roads authority tells me it is flooded... ah well only another 15mins down the other road.

This little pouring vessel will be staying behind... it might go to another market or perhaps to a small design and homewares store..

The blue glaze is a tricky one... it needs to be applied thickly to get the colour and sparkle but too thick and it will run off the pot and onto the kiln shelf...  I'm fairly happy with this one.

Have a nice weekend... a holiday Monday here in NSW so I hope to get back to the studio...

Good luck at the markets. I hope the weather (and the customers) are both very, very kind to you.

that's a beauty, love the way the glaze varies in color.

Hi EC thank you. Weather was not too bad but sales were down. One of the roads in was flooded so less visitors which was a shame for the organisers and other stall holders.
