My teapots are slowing drying and I have a few spare lids just in case.
It is interesting how a little less or a little more clay in a curve or knob changes the whole 'feel' of a piece.
I've never made an extra lid for a teapot, I am surprised I like the more traditional style tea pots and I thought of myself as liking the more unusual ones. Ha. The bird handle is great.

thanks Linda. I wasn't a girl scout but I do like to be prepared (lids can be dropped or warp in firing and no longer fit etc).
