Native Violets - still flowering

The Australian Native Violet  (Viola hederacea) is a favourite of mine...

The weather has heated up again after a couple of days respite and they are still flowering...

Weather will be back up in the high 30s tomorrow... its 7pm at night and still 34 degrees Celsius outside...

A high of 32 forecast tomorrow and a bit cooler on Thursday so there must be a cool southerly on the way, hurrah!

Eight oclock here and nearly 35. Sigh. Hot tomorrow and cooler (a bit) Thursday. Bring back winter.

It's just mad isn't it... we are fairly close to the river and yet still 31C at 10:30pm.. and you are inland EC...

Thanks for reminding me of summer...since a week ago we spent several days below freezing all day (I don't know celsius numbers well enough to translate) with snow all around canceling going out to do regular things. Your violet is lovely. I'll blow a bit of coolness your way! Butterfly effect?

Hi Barbara you are welcome.. I can't remember what it was like to be cold and yet it was only a few months ago when we visited New Zealand that I needed the cold weather gear. I'm hoping your cool breath arrives later today as it is 32 degrees Celsius at 9:30am!!

Thank you for dropping in at Drifting. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the cool you're expecting is probably going to be one day as we've just had here in Adelaide. We had a stinker yesterday, a beautiful day today and a stinker expected for tomorrow. Bleh! I say.
